The PDSES program operates on a waitlist. Funding is awarded in groups based on application order and eligibility. This page gives you the information you need to understand where your application stands. Review the application window data and funding group timelines below to see projected award dates, then use the Application ID search at the bottom of the page to look up your specific estimated funding timeline. Keep in mind that all timelines are estimates based on current legislative funding levels and are subject to change.

New to Special Education, Determine Eligibility

The Parent-Directed Special Education Services (PDSES) program is a one-time $1,500 online grant for parents/guardians of eligible students served by special education and who are enrolled in a Texas public school. Parents/guardians of eligible students can use the online accounts to shop the marketplace to obtain educational materials and resources such as textbooks, curriculum, or technology devices and/or services such as additional speech therapy, tutoring, or other specific services.
